Early in the year from January to late February, the Chinook salmon begins its timeless journey from the Northern Pacific Ocean to the Columbia River.  Year after year, the Chinook battles odds and adversity, navigating through challenging conditions to reach its destination.  After traveling thousands of miles, the Chinook reaches its goal:  The safety of the tributaries.
